Fox News reported yesterday on the way Barack Obama and Chief Justice John Roberts stumbled over the presidential oath of office.
Is anybody taking bets on how soon the far, far right-wing conspiracy folks start using this as another reason to disqualify Obama from the presidency?

This is not going to affect his presidency. I was along the parade route yesterday, and at noon, before he even took the oath, the announcer on the loudspeakers said that he officially became President at the stroke of twelve. Also, just to clear up any confusion, he retook the oath earlier tonight.

Thank you, my son. The article said that both Obama and Clinton were 5 minutes late with their respective oath of office.
Also, Chester Arthur and Calvin Coolidge had to retake their oath for similar reasons.
As for it affecting his presidency, I never expected it to. But there are people on the far right who are the equivalent to the the people on the far left that never quit saying Bush stole the 2000 election. Those were the ones I expected to jump onto a new disqualification bandwagon. I guess that bandwagon has left the building now.
Sorry I didn't see you. By the time I got home from Bible study at noon, C-SPAN2 was showing the beginning of a session of Congress. Very boring, and you weren't there.
It's OK. We weren't on the Mall anyway; we were on the parade route, listening to the Inauguration over the loudspeakers. I did get to see him, though!

I'm sure your son has many redeeming qualities.
I am so freaking jealous, Spawn of Skye! Is it true that he emits a faint glow?
Barack Obama is a rock star.
