Feeling Small

I got this in an email today. I'd list the photo credits if I had them. The email said the photos came from JPL, but I don't know if that's true. Snopes didn't have any hits on the searches I tried. So here are the photos:

Sirius, by the way (white star in the fourth picture), is that bright star in the sky at the shoulder of Orion's dog, Ursa Major.

And all the ruckus in the news right now is happening on a little dot on the left side of the earth in the top picture.

It really does kind of put everything into perspective, doesn't it?

It also serves as a pretty powerful reminder of God's love for little us. He knows not only our names, but each individual hair on our heads. That's pretty impressive and humbling, all at the same time.

And the next photo would show God holding Antares in His hand

AICS,

Antares would be one pixel on the tip of God's finger...

I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll just add:

A star named Antares (if hollow), could hold sixty-four million of our sun. In the constellation of Hercules, there is a star which could contain 100 million of Antares. The largest known star, Epsilon, could easily swallow up several million stars the size of the one in Hercules!

Great posting.. I love to learn about astrology. Agree with Christina. And compared to all these people posting I know almost nothing about the subject.

Facinacion,

I think it's only one person posting who knows so much. The rest of us are in the same boat as you.

I'm glad you stopped by.
