I'm on the train this morning, my first time since I got my new cellular internet thingy working (too many late, late nights working that got me to bed way too late to be able to get up at 4:15am to catch the train). And as I look out over the ocean, there are some big, gray, ugly clouds hanging over the coast.
Did I bring an umbrella? No. Uh-oh.
But under the clouds, I can see Catalina ("Santa Catalina" to oldies radio buffs) and even the faint outline of San Clemente Island--35 miles off the coast--sitting on the edge of the horizon. It's going to be a lovely day, whether I get wet or not.

You are one high-tech babe.
You got that right.
With the challenges I have operating complex machinery, like my laptop thingy and the phone here at work that has lots more buttons than the normal 10 (plus * and #), I belive the medical program I take is going to have to train me really well on the ultrasound equipment...
