UN Predicts Mass Migration

The Telegraph (UK) reported today about the UN's latest population prediction.

At least 2.2 million migrants will arrive in the rich world every year from now until 2050, the United Nations said yesterday.

Britain's population will rise from 60 million to approaching 69 million by 2050 - almost entirely because of immigration.

The latest figures from the UN's population division predict a global upheaval without parallel in human history over the next four decades.

There will be billions more people in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Of these, tens of millions will migrate to Europe and America, while the indigenous populations of most countries in the rich world will either stagnate or decline.

By 2050, India will have the highest population in the world, totalling almost 1.7 billion people. There will be 292 million Pakistanis, giving their country the fifth biggest population. Nigeria will have 289 million people - making it the world's sixth most populous country - and Uganda's population will rise to 93 million, comfortably exceeding the totals in both its larger neighbours, Kenya and Tanzania.

This massive population growth will lead to land degradation on a huge scale and place an immense strain on the limited water resources of poor countries. Malawi cannot feed its present population of 13 million - and every year its soils become more degraded and yields steadily fewer crops.

I find it ironic that the UN publishes reports like this, without seeming to recognize the hand they had in shaping these conditions.

What has the UN done about Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe? They've honored him with invitations. They've ignored what he does to his own people. And he's just one murderous dictator-thug out of many.

No, the UN has bigger fish to fry. They have almost-daily condemnations of Israel and the Unites States to write and deliver and vote on. The rest of the suffering world be damned. And they will be if the UN population prediction is right.

Get the US out of the UN, and then get the UN out of the US! Let them set up their headquarters in Darfur.

Confused, yes you are.

Where do I begin. I'll start with this. First, what do you mean "occupation of Palestine?" There isn't now nor has there ever been, a country of palestine.
If you think defending a "real" country, Israel, against an evil death cult (muslims that call themselves palestinians) genocide, I'd say you're blind to true evil in the world. Unless you believe there is no evil in the world. If that's it then you're without hope and I can't change your mind or open your eyes.

CF,

There is no genocide in "Palestine." There's only a bunch of kleptocrats jealous of the power the other group of kleptocrats has, and the resultant civil war.

Israel displaced their own people from Gaza, left all the fabulous farming equipment in place as a sign of good faith, and the Palestinians destroyed it all. All by themselves.

And the UN condemns Israel...

CF,

Consider me speechless.

As a non-human, I have nothing further to say.

C'd F,

You'll have to forgive us. We are among the best educated people on the face of the planet - with the most free and independent news gathering services - and the most open government.

What you say goes against what we've been taught - and - our common sense.

Is it any wonder that your comments conjure thoughts of jealous resentment and conspiracy theories?

But keep up the good work. You have a big job on your hands.

"Janice, human beings owned, farmed and lived on that land, whether or not there was a state known as Palestine or not."

You're right, Confused, they were Jews who purchased the land (at 10 times market value) many, many years prior to the Balfour Declaration. "Arafish" was the one who dubbed the "displaced" people palestinians. It was the arab leaders in the region who told the "palestinians" they'd destroy the newly formed nation and promised their return. Which, after many attempts to wage war with Israel, never happened.

Why all the refugee cities? can't the host countries allow these refugees to become apart of their nation? No, the refugees lend credibility to the cause, even after 60 years.

One last thing, Israel didn't displace these people, "Arafish" and his ilk did.

Learn the history of the territory.

I feel sorry for you. Having been fed such disinformation.

Please discover the truth about the birth of Israel. The "displaced" people brought it on themselves, they made the choice NOT to live in peace as Israeli citizens.

The could have had a state many times and Arafat chose to continue murdering innocent Israelis. Becuase they don't have "weapons" to fight the occupiers, brainwashed suicide bombers are sent in to do the work Arafat and his henchmen are afraid to do.

Yes, confused you are!
